On Tuesday 18 February 2020 a new steam engine arrived at St Nicholas Abbey and was unloaded from the container to his new home in Barbados! The new engine dating from the 1920's and produced by a Belgian firm called La Meuse travelled across the Atlantic from Statfold Barn in England.

In 2012, St. Nicholas Abbey returned to London’s annual RumFest for its fifth consecutive year, taking home top honors for the distillery and its new Barbadian White Rum.

The team at St Nicholas Abbey are thrilled to have been awarded a Bronze Medal at the 2012 International Wine and Spirits Competition, London, UK for their new St Nicholas Abbey White Rum which is yet to hit the market. The rum was judged in the White Rum - Pot Still - Caribbean Category and earned the highest medal in its category.
St. Nicholas Abbey Rum (10YR) was recognised at the recent Rum Masters 2012 Competition.
